Saturday Samba (Community Music)
The University of Lincoln Community Music Collective - we are a volunteer group made up of enthusiastic music students, seeking to facilitate music workshops in and around the Lincoln community. In this performance, students will showcase the feel-good Samba rhythms in the Lincoln Batucada. Come along, feel the music, and if you are feeling brave you might just get the chance to join in!

Marcus Bagley-Hodkin
Marcus is second year Music student at the University of Lincoln. He is a singer-songwriter, composer and pianist with a passion for music. He aims to live a life full of creative pursuits, from music to creative writing. his favourite artists are P!nk, Tim Minchin, and Billy Joel.

Full Fathom Five
The Full Fathom Five are a vocal quintet based in Lincoln. They consist of Katie Care (soprano), Stella Radić (alto), Will North (tenor), Glory Bakyayita (baritone) and Tom South (bass). Stella, Will and Tom are Choral Scholars at Lincoln Cathedral, and the group perform regularly at the Tempest Arms in Coleby, Lincolnshire.

Hey, we're Session Band Unplugged! We're a group of University students at the University of Lincoln all studying music. We are a band that is composed of primarily first years and with help on keys by one of our lecturers. Our band consists of three singers (Amber, Kayleigh, and Camilla), acoustic guitar and lap steel (Marc), electric guitar (Ross), and piano (Ryan). Our music repertoire consists of music ranging from the 70s to the modern day, and making them songs as acoustically sounding as we can.

The University of Lincoln Chamber Ensemble is an student-based orchestra. They will be led by Martin Scheuregger and Elly Mills, and will be bringing you a variety of genres to their set!

University of Lincoln Chamber Ensemble and Choir (ft. Asher Hoang and Rob Benson)
In collaboration with the University of Lincoln's Chamber Choir and Chamber Ensemble, Singer/Songwriter Asher Hoang will be bringing his original song Time to life in an orchestral format. Originally written in 2018, Asher has been waiting four years to be able to bring Time to life in a setting like this, and the mix of contemporary with the chamber groups will make this a piece not to miss. Violinist Rob Benson will also be bringing his own song, Drifting, to the performance.

Led by L3 Music student Will North, the choir perform mainly choral music from all different time periods, as well as occasionally exploring different genres. The Chamber Choir have performed at Nebula Festival for a number of years. They will be performing a selection of both sacred and secular classical music, including The Blue Bird by Stanford and Like as the Hart by Howells.

Lexi is a second year Music student at the University of Lincoln, specialising in the Piano. His act is mainly modern music focusing on the lyrical meaning behind time. Instead of playing music back in time, he will be motivating you to be grateful for the life you have now.

The Benson-Slater String Duo is made of of Rob Benson (Violin) and Ben Slater (Cello), two second-year Music students at the University of Lincoln. They will be bringing a variety of both well-known and more obscure tunes as part of their set.

Lincoln Community Sing
Led by Liz McIntosh, who has a life-long passion for singing and working in communities, Lincoln Community Music is led with warmth, humour and enthusiasm, with the belief that singing with others is a fundamental community building activity and that singing is for everyone. Through her choirs and singing projects, Liz seeks to encourage and enable singers of all abilities to develop and grow in an informal, supportive environment. This community sing session will be lead by Liz and a group of her singers. Audience participation is of course encouraged! Come and join in the fun!

The University Of Lincoln Folk Band are a student-based ensemble directed by one of our senior lecturers, Cassandre Balosso-Bardin. The Folk Band was originally formed in 2019 and since then, they have performed in a wide variety of showcases and concerts. The band consists of a wide range of different instruments ranging from guitar to the mighty ambitious bagpipes. In addition to the range of instruments, the band have been busy for the past few years performing tunes, melodies and arrangements from different areas of the globe i.e Mongolia, Ireland, Greece, Switzerland etc. Be prepared to travel around the world with the folk band "passport-free" through their melodic arrangements.

Lottie Owens is a final year Music student at the University of Lincoln, and accompanying her is Ed Wellman, who is the head of Music at the University. Their performance will be a series of Musical Theatre songs, ranging from the 1980s to the present day. Their music will feature songs from musicals such as Waitress and A Chorus Line.

Jas and the Jams are a 5-piece pop band made up of 3rd-year Music students. It is made up of Jasmine Fearn (vocals), Glory Bakyayita (keyboard), Ben Hauton (guitar), Asher Hoang (drums) and Jack Brett (bass). It was originally formed for the 2020 edition of Nebula Festival, where they performed various pop covers.

The band consists of Ben Hauton on Electric Guitar, Robbie Tribe on Electric Guitar and Backing Vocals, Alfie Harding on Drums and Asher Hoang on Bass and Vocals!

Georgie Hanson is a 25 year old Lincoln-based indie singer-songwriter. She has been singing as long as she can remember, and has been writing songs since she was 16. Georgie has an exciting year planned, with lots of indie pop tracks and music videos scheduled to be released. Her influences include Wallows, Two Door Cinema Club, and Dayglow.

Future Theory are an alternative rock band from the big skies of Lincolnshire with vehement psychedelic tendencies. The band formed in 2016 and released their first EP ‘Fool’s Dream’. After a handful of single releases, the band have finally completed their debut album (due for release 05/02/2022).
The album was recorded at 2fly studios in Sheffield, with Alan Smyth (Early Arctic Monkeys) and Chris Reed (Red Lorry Yellow Lorry)
The album was mixed by producer Koncide (Chris Hengmith) and mastered by Yves Altana (The Chameleons/Mark Burgess).
The band have poured a lot of different influences into their music; cool, understated psychedelia, grunge, post punk and serious alt-rock guitar sounds which all mixed together has enabled them to form their own unique sound.
